Jeu d'enfant follows the Redwood City School District schedules and offers camps most days when public school is not in session.
Summer Camps
We are now taking registration for the following camps:
Intensive French Camp - August 16-20
This is a Beginning French class, where you can learn the basics in one weeks. Classes take place M-T-W-F from 4:00 P.M. - 5:30 P.M. Open to all ages. Cost is $150. No drop-in available since this is a progressive class.
Science Camp - August 16-20
We will do science experiments in the morning, arts and crafts in the afternoon.
Cost is $290 per week, $5 per lunch (on request.)
Earth Camp - November 11-12
We will study what makes our earth special through experiments in the morning, arts and crafts in the afternoon.
Cost is $140, $5 per lunch (on request.)
Our Camps: Camps (except for French Intensive) run from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
We provide two snacks and your child brings lunch.
All activities are geared towards either a 2-5 years old group, or a 5-10 years old group. Children will be grouped according to age so they can learn at the appropriate level. Each camp has a maximum of 8 students, for one or two teachers. There will be plenty of fun and outdoor play (weather permitting!)
Daily Schedule:
- 9:00 A.M. Play while waiting for all to arrive
- 9:30 A.M. History and instruction about the project.
- 10:00 A.M. Snack, then recess
- 10:30 A.M. Crafts, prep work, arts.
- 12:00 P.M. Lunch
- 12:30 P.M. Nap or rest for little ones, quiet recess for older kids.
- 1:00 P.M. Instruction for the project.
- 1:30 P.M. Crafts, finish project of the day.
- 2:30 P.M. Snack, water play (if weather allows.)
- 3:00 P.M. Pick up time.
The camps are available in French and in English. Extra hours are available on a need-be basis. Drop-in is $65 for the day.
When registering, please specify the age of your child, and the preferred language.
Deposit for camp is $100.
